Auxiliaire de recherche pour le projet de recherche-création Polytope XXI sous la direction des professeurs Dominic Thibault et Myriam Boucher de l’Université de Montréal, interprété par l’ensemble Sixtrum.

Polytope XXI est un concert hommage à Iannis Xenakis (1922-2001), architecte, ingénieur et compositeur, qui a écrit certaines des œuvres pour percussions les plus marquantes du XXIème siècle. C’est aussi le nom que les compositeurs Myriam et Dominic ont donné à leur projet d’instrument monumental, sorte de harpe géante audio-lumineuse augmentée par l’électroacoustique.

Research assistant for the Polytope XXI research-creation project under the direction of professors Dominic Thibault and Myriam Boucher from the University of Montreal, performed by the Sixtrum ensemble.

Polytope XXI is a tribute concert to Iannis Xenakis (1922-2001), architect, engineer and composer, who wrote some of the most significant percussion works of the 21st century. It is also the name that composers Myriam and Dominic gave to their monumental instrument project, a sort of giant audio-luminous harp augmented by electroacoustics.
